Attadale Garden, West Coast of Scotland
The beautiful Attadale Gardens on the West Coast of Scotland are an ideal place to visit whether it's Spring, Summer or Autumn.
What a beautiful Garden! this is. Attadale is situated on the West Coast of Scotland surrounded by stunning scenery.
The entrance to the Attadale Garden leads to the side of pretty water gardens and small terraces which make their way to the House. It is renowned for it's display of rhododendrons in the Spring, some of which are over 100 years old.
In the Summer the splendour of the water gardens at Attadale come to the fore with primula, meconopsis, water lily and iris merging together to give a carpet of colour.
By the Autumn, the foliage of the Gunnera, chilensis and other large-leaved plants complement the vibrant autumnal colours of the shrubs and trees.
A good informal garden, probably at its best in early summer, surrounded by some spectacular scenery.
