Twigs Garden
TWIGS Community Gardens site is one of the hidden treasures of Swindon. The gardens are a source of inspiration as well as providing a much needed oasis from the stresses of everyday life.
The gardens have been developing over the last 20 years. The main garden site occupies almost two acres and includes six themed gardens and seven smaller individual gardens as well as an extensive wildflower / woodland haven. The main gardens are; Japanese, Path of Life, Wildlife friendly, Cottage, Pottager and a Physic garden. There is also an iron age round house, three large polytunnels, a glasshouse and plant sales area . In amongst the gardens are wonderful pieces of art work. A short walk around the lake , Plaums Pit, leads to our innovative organic allotment site. The gardens are a source of inspiration as well as providing a much needed oasis from the stresses of everyday life

Best visited April to October. All the gardens and the building are wheelchair accessible . There are toilets in the main building including a disabled toilet.
