Lydiard Park Walled Garden & House
This large walled garden at Lydiard Park was originally built in the 1740's to provide the St John family a peaceful place to stroll and admire the plants as well as being used for fruit for the dining table. Take time to visit the historic House
The Walled Garden at Lydiard Park which fell into decline over a century ago has been lovingly restored by volunteers from pictures, plans and letters.
It is now a riot of colour and will improve further as plants become established. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
Take time to visit the park with its long wide canal and one of the earliest plunge pools in the country.
The historic House is also open and certainly is worth a visit.
