Hindringham Hall Garden

Hindringham Hall Gardens

Looks wonderful. Four acres of gardens within and without the 12th century moat surrounding a Tudor Manor House.

Hindringham Hall is the most delicious little moated manor house straight out of a story book. It's gardens wrap around the brick and flint Tudor Hall built on a medieval site complete with moat and Fishponds.
The gardens have been lovingly developed over the past 30 years by the current owners. Never intended for public view, the garden continues to be a private garden shared with visitors just twice a week.
The walled Kitchen garden provides produce year round for the Hall with excess sold to summer visitors.
There are snowdrop walks, which are overtaken by the bluebells then the cyclamen.
There are 48 varieties of Daffodils which flower over 4 months and have Cow Parsley planted amongst them to hide them whilst waiting for them all to die down.
Roses are planted with Clematis to flower before the roses repeat.
Borders are planted so that there is a continual show and the performance will go on.
Even the gravel beside the moat has a spectacular display of Geranium, Californian Poppies and V. Bonariensis
Black Hebridean sheep are the lawn mowers for the restored 3 acre medieval Fish Ponds.
Visitors take tea in the Café beside the moat. Smell the roses, listen to the birdsong and enjoy the peace and beauty of this
special garden.
