A beautiful 9 acre canal side garden covering 9 acres created by John Massey VMH. Something to see in all seasons. The garden includes woodland, cottage garden plantings, a rock garden, meadows and wildlife. In February see fine displays of snowdrops

Discover this canal side garden known as John's Garden at Ashwood Nurseries which is open most Saturdays throughout the year for charity. Covering 9 acres there is something to see in every season starting with snowdrops in February.
Regarded as one of the finest private gardens in the UK, there are magnificent collections of trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennials and conifers with an abundance of rare plants as well as familiar favourites.
In October there are wonderful autumn colours from both plants and trees.
