These gardens and grounds at Wallington Hall date from the 1700s by Sir Walter Blackett with help from Lancelot 'Capability' Brown who attended school in the estate village.

Whilst the landscape at Wallington Hall and Garden is formal there is a natural feel with some lovely walks, with longer ones encompassing the Moor.
There is a beautiful walled garden with many climbers and colourful borders. A Rill runs along the lawn from the pond.
Woodland walks with many fine trees.
The wonderful house can also be visited and has a fascinating history. See the beautifully furnished rooms and the 8 large wall paintings depicting 2000 years of local life by pre-Raphaelite artist William Bell Scott.
