Here at Threave Garden on a beautiful 1200 acre Estate near Castle Douglas visitors can enjoy the fruits of a project that has brought together agriculture, forestry, nature conservation and of course stunning horticulture. HOUSE open.

Threave Garden is rich in diversity, with areas such as an informal rose garden, a wildflower meadowland and a one acre walled garden with a temperate glasshouse collection. It is also well known for its great displays of daffodils.
The garden also feature many champion trees from around the world. 
There are pond and waterfall areas and plenty of walks around the estate where you might see red squirrels and much wildlife.
The principal rooms of Threave house can also be visited.
The countryside visitor centre is within the grounds with many displays.
