Can you tell me more about the new Flower Garden at Berrington Hall?
The new Flower Garden, situated in front of the Walled Garden finished in 2026 was once a neatly mown lawn, but has been transformed into a vibrant space full of colour and buzzing with pollinators. With over 53,000 plants and bulbs planted, the garden has quickly become a haven for wildlife and people alike.
There is also a recreated Wisteria Walk. Still a young garden, it's already bursting with promise. And with fully accessible paths throughout, everyone is welcome to explore this evolving space and watch it flourish. 
The garden was designed by National Trust garden designer Ed Higgins, building upon the original 18th-century layout by Lancelot "Capability" Brown.

The Walled Garden was designed by Capability Brown and features a large orchard full of old varieties of Apple Trees plus herbaceous plantings in some of the side borders. The 'Curve' is at the upper part of the Walled Garden and National Trust have exciting plans for this area, which is unique amongst Brown's designs.

There are plenty of walks through the parkland through woodlands, wildflower meadows and around Berrington's pool, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
