Weston Park Garden
The gardens at Weston Park are a good example of an 18th century landscape garden where Capability Brown once worked.
Weston Park has a woodland garden which has a fine collection of trees, rhododendrons and azaleas with pathways and ponds.
In more recent times, the Italian garden (or broderie) was recreated by Elizabeth Banks in 1989 with a more labour-saving scheme of planting. The Weston Park Foundation also commissioned Nada and Fred Jennet in 1991 to redesign the terrace planting.
There are many events throughout the year including guided autumn walks by the head gardener. There are also other events leading up to Christmas.
