Kilver Court Garden, Shepton Mallet
Owned by Mulberry founder and English designer Roger Saul, Kilver Court Gardens and Garden Nursery are housed within the grounds of a regenerated textile mill in the heart of Somerset, which is home to the Kilver Court Designer Village and restaurants.
The 3.5 acre gardens, as seen on BBC Gardeners' World, feature a number of highlights including a millpond and ornamental boating lake created over 100 years ago; a reproduction of George Whitelegg's Chelsea Gold Medal winning rockery and a formal parterre created by Roger in the 1990's. The gardens sit in front of the historic Charlton Viaduct, providing an impressive backdrop to the surroundings.
The most recent addition to Kilver Court is a stunning new garden nursery which sits adjacent to the gardens, providing a total experience for garden lovers. There is an unusual selection of the very best herbaceous, alpine and subtropical plants for sale which Roger has found by scouring the country for specialist plant suppliers and growers. Customers can also browse the nursery shop which is stocked with the eccentric and excellent in garden tools, collectables, outdoor furniture and garden accessories.
