Godolphin House and Garden

Godolphin House and Gardens

Remarkable House and historic gardens not yet restored.

Do not come to Godolphin House and Garden if you want to see manicured gardens.
If however you want to see  probably the oldest surviving formal garden in the country (around 700 years old) then this is for you.
You can explore the Gardens medieval pathways which lead to the side garden and its original layout with 3 compartments still in existence. The garden has a lovely atmosphere and much of it will be restored over the coming years including the 16th and 17th century ponds.
The 15th century house set deep in the Cornish countryside  will also be restored.
