Driftwood Garden, Seaford
Driftwood is the smallest garden on our guide at just 112ft by 40ft. It is a really special place.
Monty Don said on BBC 2 Gardeners’ World feature in Sept 2016 'Driftwood is a small garden by the sea with inspired planting and design'. The Sunday Telegraph said 'Geoff’s enthusiasm is catching, and he and his amazing garden deserve every visitor that makes their way up his enchanting garden path'. This characterful, exuberant seaside garden is 112ft x 40ft and a real must see garden say many TripAdvisor visitors, awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence 2017. Large selection of home-made cakes and savoury items available, served on vintage china, on trays in the garden. In 2016, Driftwood was a finalist, runner-up in Gardeners’ World, Garden of The Year (Small Space).
It remains a very personal garden with plants and objects once owned by family and friends. Plant supports and garden decorations for sale too. It has featured in The Sunday Telegraph, Daily Mail Weekend Magazine, Mail on Sunday and live on ITV’s Good Morning Britain. Driftwood is the holder of a coveted Daily Mail National Garden competition blue plaque and was winner of the Best Small Garden in the UK for Garden News magazine, both in 2012.
