Blenheim Palace Garden, near Woodstock
With changing colours throughout the seasons', from drifts of daffodils in spring, a profusion of roses in the summer, and a rich copper glow during autumn and winter.
From the spectacular 'Capability' Brown parkland (with its lake fringed by ancient oaks, cedars and hanging beech) to the mix of sweeping lawns and the award-winning formal gardens, Blenheim Palace and Garden has so much to offer the garden enthusiast.
Capability Brown improved the landscape and it was one of his finest works.
This is a wonderful place to visit and you must take time also to see one of the greatest and largest houses in the British Isles. The house was designed by Sir John Vanbrugh and the inside can only be described as spectacular.
