Hidden behind a 150-year-old wall, nestled amongst the rolling hills of the beautiful Isle of Purbeck in Dorset sits Careys Secret Garden just waiting to be discovered.
The walled garden at Carey was left wild and untamed for over 40 years, and has now been sensitively restored with a strong focus on regeneration, rewilding, permaculture and sustainability.
Visitors are welcome to explore the Arid Garden, Rose Garden, Food Forest, Stumpery, Veggie Patches, Orchard and Fruit Cage. The Secret Cafe on site serves delicious vegetarian snacks, light lunches and the best coffee!
There is a selection of lovingly home-grown (peat-free) plants available too. Visits are by pre-booking only. Please see website for details.
