Visit Perch Hill, a small Elizabethan farm in the Sussex Weald, and experience Sarah Raven's wonderful gardens and collections of tulips, dahlias, roses and annuals, flowering in succession - from March until October. A day of inspiration and delight!

Sarah Raven's Cutting Garden
Over the past 32 years, Sarah has made a series of gardens that have been her laboratory and trial-ground for the new kind of gardening she has pioneered. Full of colour and vibrant, high‑energy planting, with bold combinations of tulips, dahlias, alliums, zinnias, poppies, and all kinds of annuals, whilst at the same time carefully attentive to bird and insect life.
Sarah’s deep love of gardening extends to all areas, from cut flowers and delicious vegetables, to designing borders overflowing with colour and scent. At Perch Hill you can see the delight in all of the gardens, from the annual and perennial cutting gardens, to the oast and vegetable gardens, there really is something for everyone.
