The Long was reconstructed by Arabella Lennox Boyd, with  beautiful plantings giving colour through the seasons and bordered by Yew Topiary and stone walling.
The lily Pool overlooked by a thatched summer house was once used for ice skating but is now a peaceful retreat, and especially in summer when the Water Lilies are in flower.
Don't miss the Venus Fountain set before views of the hills in the background, and other historic features.
Take time to visit rooms on the ground floor of the House.
