Stone Lane Gardens is an enchanting arboretum with several wildlife ponds on the eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park with spectacular views across to the moorland hills. An RHS Partner Garden, Stone Lane Gardens welcomes visitors every day in all seasons. During the summer the gardens host a Summer Sculpture Exhibition showcasing work by emerging and well known artists.
Stone Lane Gardens holds a National Collection of Birch and Alder. Available for purchase via the web site, our specialist tree nursery propagates rare and unusual examples from the National Collection which can be ordered at any time for collection or delivery in the winter months.
Our Tea room, with a tea garden and small shop, offers Devon Cream Teas on most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The tea room is run by volunteers and is open during the summer months.
Stone Lane Gardens is situated 2 miles from the A30 near Whiddon Down, at Stone Farm, Stone Lane, Devon, TQ13 8JU. Children and dogs on leads welcome. Free parking.
