See rhododendrons with many varieties.
Tregrehan Garden is a typically non commercialised Cornish Garden best seen in April & May with some wonderful rhododendrons and camellias collected over time from all over the world.
Wander around the 20 acres and but dont worry about keeping to the paths as you will miss some fine specimens.
There is also a walled garden laid mainly to grass with a fountain pond bordered by some fine glass houses.
It is the surrounding woodland however which is the highlight of the Gardens planted by the Carlyon family.
The garden is just east of St Austell and there are more lovely gardens in the area - see our map.
2019 - Normally open to the public from mid-March to end-May and one day per week throughout the summer - ring for details.
