Walled Garden at Applecross and Potting Shed Cafe

Garden Holidays Banner

The walled garden at Applecross has been saved from dereliction and lovingly restored over recent years.
The garden of 1.25 acres, at the time of our visit in August was full of colour with herbaceous borders, raised vegetable beds and there are plans to open a further wild area nearby.
To reach the garden you must take either a long scenic ride around the coast or a shorter ride on one of the most scenic rides in Britain.
The Potting Shed Cafe within the garden serves the most delicious sea-food, although there are alternatives.
The combination of the garden, ride and food make this a day out to remember.

Walled Garden at Applecross Where to stay -
Self Catering - Applecross

Hotels, B&Bs, Guset Houses
We suggest you search for a good
B & B nearby as larger hotels are some distance away. We stayed in Plockton - Plockton Hotel is good. This is around 1 hours drive from Applecross. If you are searching for hotels take care as the distances quoted are 'as the crow flies'.
