Upton House

The delightful gardens at Upton House surrounds a fine stone House built in 1695. A large lawn leads to an amazing series of terraces which tumble down to a lovely pool.
One of of the terraces houses the National collection of asters best from mid August onwards.  There is also a long Mediterranean border full of colour and a large kitchen garden below which is still used to grow fruit and vegetables.
See the lovely double herbaceous borders running down to the pool and two small formal gardens one of which is a yew enclosed rose garden.
There is a yew walk and an interesting 1930s water garden which will make your visit to Upton House a great day out.
