Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is set on a hillside overlooking the city which is just 1 mile away. It is a world famous garden important for its great selection of plants and reminds one of a slightly smaller Kew.
Renowned collection of rhododendrons  from the Himalayas. Other important collections including orchids and alpines.

The  Glasshouses are superb split into different climatic zones with water and tropical plants. There is also Britain's largest Palm House. Edinburgh Botanic Garden is not to be missed.
