Rowallane Garden, Saintfield, Ballynahinch

Rowallane Gardens set in 50 acres date back to the mid 19th century but was further developed by

Hugh Armytage Moore, a great plantsman in the early 1900s.
Famous for its large collection of  rhododendrons there is much else to see including wildflower meadows, snowdrops, an interesting rock garden and a walled garden with many rare plants including the National Collection of Penstemon.
It is still however the rhododendrons and azaleas which are bound to leave lasting impressions at Rowallane Gardens.
