| The
3 acre garden at Penpergwm Lodge has been developed over the last 30
years from the remnants of an Edwardian garden designed when the house was
built. There are wonderful mature trees with space and freedom in the open areas of lawn, and a contrasting formality in other areas, marked out by new and old hedges, a malus avenue, two planted terraces, one stone and one brick, each planted to a colour theme and linked by a parterre and vine walk. Recent additions include a Jubilee brick folly, an oak- pillared summer house, new brick terraces and a canal descending from a brick loggia. |
