Mount Stewart

Mount Stewart is truly a great garden created by Edith, Marchioness of Londonderry in the 1920s on the Ards Peninsula.
Formal and informal gardens which should be visited in different seasons. Plenty of stone statues in formal garden, with stone carvings of animals and the Dodo Terrace with statues representing friends and family.
Rare plants which flourish in the mild micro-climate, wonderful flowering beds, The Jubilee Glade with plants in red, white and blue.
Delightful walks around the lake where rhododendrons in the Spring are a highlight.
So much to take in at Mount Stewart, must not be missed.
