Mill Dene Garden: hidden in the Cotswolds.
‘We were searching for the spirit of the Cotswolds, and found it at Mill Dene’.  A recent Japanese visitor.
This is a garden to nourish your senses.   Horticultural skill is carried lightly but you will still go home with ideas for all season pleasure in your garden.  Set round an old water-mill and pond , the garden is terraced up steep sides to beautiful Cotswold views at the top.
The herb garden has the village Church as a backdrop, had views over the hills and is probably sited over the old Saxon burial ground.
A misty grotto is home to the ducks ,named trout in the stream hide from the kingfisher and heron, but are not much worried by the family’s Birman cats.  Come and enjoy the peace
Garden is dangerous for toddlers.
