Kirklands

Peter & Gill have developed and restored the garden at Kirklands over the last 30 years. Lawns, herbaceous borders, rockery, bog garden and stream. Woodland garden with hellebores, pulmonarias, wood anemones, rhododendrons, azaleas, ferns (80 varieties), fritillarias, ransomes, erythroniums, trilliums and masses of bluebells leading to 20 acres of naturally regenerating Scottish woodland.
The productive walled fruit and vegetable garden has been terraced over the last few years and is used for vegetable growing garden courses and to provide produce for the house.
Historic statues of Tam O’Shanter and Souter Jonny by Robert Forest sit quietly on the side lawn.
