Kentwell Hall

Garden Holidays Banner

A haven of peace and tranquility in the Gardens here at Kentwell.
Dominated by water (of the Moats) and mellow brickwork. Large Walled Garden with basically 17th Century layout, containing a large herb garden, with over 160 different herbs, a potager and ancient espaliered fruit trees.
Elsewhere plentiful clipped Yews including the Pied Piper Topiary now coming to life and many new avenues and other plantings. At any time Kentwell Gardens are a joy, never more so than in spring with tens of thousands of snowdrops and then daffodils in drifts. Surprises too like the Yew Castle gradually taking shape, Fossilized Log, the Concrete Crocodile, Baron Munchausen's Galleon, the Mystic Cricle and a model Mississippi Paddle Steamer and plentiful wildlife from numerous fish to fowl."
