Inwood Gardens, Musselburgh

One of our smaller gardens Inwood was started from scratch in 1984 by Lindsay & Irvine Morrison. The woodland created in 1992 from rough woodland increased the garden's size to an acre. Countless trees and saplings were removed to make wide, grassy paths.  Two greenhouses were built for the fuchsia, begonia and streptocarpus collections but mainly to overwinter tender exotics.
Visitors can expect to see an imaginative design, rambling roses in abundance, herbaceous mixed borders containing many unusual and sometimes  rare plants in a beautiful woodland setting.
'I always try to be here to welcome people and maintain a plant stall stocked with plants from the garden' - Lindsay Morrison.
Inwood has been accepted by the RHS as a Partnership Garden with
free Access for RHS members.
