Glansevern Hall, Nr Welshpool

A landscaped park from the early 1800's surrounds this Greek Revival house known as Glansevern Hall,
Woodland includes Rhododendrons and specimen trees from the Victorian era.
There is a large lake, a profusely planted water garden and walks through the woodland to the banks of the River Severn.
On a more formal note there are colourful borders around the house and roses in the walled garden.
Large rock garden with grotto.

Facilities - Tea room, dogs on lead, disabled access, plants for sale. Open for groups at other times  by appointment

Glansevern Hall Gardens open 2008Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Bank Holiday Mondays from 1st May until end September 12 noon - 5pm. Groups by appointment on other days.
