Marion MacMillan added the herbaceous border in 1939, and continued extensive specialist planting throughout her life. Her daughter Judy, son George, and Jane MacMillan are continuing the process. Snowdrops - During February and Early March Finlaystone is covered in thousands of snowdrops.
