Brilliant new giant global garden - Eden Project, opened 2001, covering an area the size of 30 football pitches. A disused china clay pit has been transformed into the world's largest greenhouse which contain plants from all over the world. Water features and cascades.
There are exhibitions showing how plants can be used in the production of consumer goods. Follow specific trails such as music, and food.
This garden has been created to tell the fascinating story of man's relationship with plants.
This is a fascinating place to visit any time of the year and especially over the winter months when it is less crowded. There is a full programme of events. You might also want to check out other gardens in the area.

Eden Project is a great day out.
