East Bergholt Place

Garden Holidays UK & Worldwide

East Bergholt is a wonderful woodland garden.
It was started by the present owners great grandfather Charles Eley. Many of the older shrubs and trees originate from the great plant collector George Forrest.
The East Bergholt gardens are set in 20 acres around a valley with small stream and pool.
Good collections of Rhododendrons, Camellias and magnolias together with other unusual plants, shrubs and rare specimen trees.
May is probably the best time to visit.
Excellent nursery in Walled Garden.
