lovely garden is at the home of William and Louise Friend. East
Northdown has a traditional Kent farmhouse garden on chalk near the sea. It has a wide range of plants tolerant of local conditions, especially draught tolerant, grey leaved or evergreen small shrubs that benefit from the dry, windy but mild Mediterranean microclimate. The adjacent nursery has a vast range of small trees, shrubs and perennials in a variety of sizes on sale which are catalogued on their web-site. |
