Doddington Hall

Doddington Hall has five acres of romantic walled gardens, with formal topiary box-edged knot garden,    fountains and sumptuous borders.  Flag Iris are a speciality.
The early Spring displays of flowering shrubs and bulbs is a special feature at Doddington Hall, beginning with naturalised Crocus thomasinianus and sheets of snowdrops, and moving on through the whole range of spring colour. A profusion of dog toothed violets and rampant Crown Imperial lilies are highlights, together with 19th Century daffodils and a growing display of Christmas Roses. Among shrubs, the winter flowering Rhododendron nobleanum is a star with a rich range of witch hazels in support.
Magnificent old trees, temple of the winds,
water gardens and a turf maze.
