David Austin Roses

A very large rose garden which many consider one of the most beautiful in the world. The overall concept is to enclose the exuberant and rather informal growth of the roses within neatly clipped, evergreen hedges. It contains over 700 varieties, covers about 2 acres(0.8HA) and is divided into a number of different areas each with their own styles.
The Long Garden forms the central core with the main collection of Old Roses and a wide range of shrub roses, the pergolas displaying climbers and ramblers. The Renaissance Garden is planted purely with English Roses, with their beautiful blooms and wide ranging fragrances. The Victorian Garden is circular and planted with English Roses and other repeat flowering shrub roses. Providing focal points are many fine pieces of Pat Austin's sculptures
