Cholmondeley Castle Gardens

The gardens and park at Cholmondeley originate from the 19th century and are in a delightful hill top position in rolling parkland.
There is a good collection of azaleas and rhododendrons and many interesting features. These include a delightful Temple Garden, with lake bounded by moisture loving plants, a rock garden and waterfalls.
A fine collection of trees has been established over the years and further interest is added by good herbaceous borders.
The gardens at Cholmondeley Castle are well worth a visit.
