Bressingham Gardens, Norfolk

Those who haven't been to The Bressingham Gardens lately will see many changes. The late Alan Bloom's Dell Garden created from 1953 with its 50 or so Island Beds of perennials is as immaculate as ever and Adrian Bloom's Foggy Bottom garden started in 1967 with views and vistas of year round colour is worth a visit on its own. Now new gardens have been added linking both and creating new areas of interest, in total covering 16 acres.
Follow the Foggy Bottom trail from the Summer Garden with its National Collection of Miscanthus fronting colourful perennials, go through the 6 acre Dell Garden and to Adrian's Wood, which is being planted exclusively with plants of north American origin.  The final destination of the six acre Foggy Bottom - in all a paradise for gardeners for all levels of interest.
