Bramham Park

Bramham Park - Woods, water & wild flowers. One of the greatest Historic Formal Landscapes in Britain.
This unique landscape of water gardens and geometric avenues created by Robert Benson, 1st Lord Bingley, in the 17th Century and has remained virtually unchanged to this day.
It was probably influenced by Andre Le Notre at Versailles and Vaux Le Vicomte during Robert’s‘ grand tour’ of Europe.
Despite the French influence the manner in which it was adapted to the natural landscape is relaxed and entirely English.

2011 - See Bramham Park website for details of days and times.
