Bide-a-Wee Cottage

This delightful garden at Bide-a-Wee Cottage set in a disused quarry covers around 2 acres. 
It was designed by Mark Robson and has many colourful plantings making full use of the quarry rock faces.
There are many wildflowers including a National Collection of Cornflowers. Sea also the spring fed pool with astilbes and loosestrife.
There are also Rhododendrons, conifers  and many unusual plants. Bide-a-Wee Cottage is a real plants-man's garden.

2011  Bide-a-Wee Garden open from the beginning of May until the end of August, Saturday and Wednesday only 1:30-5.00pm. Group visits at other times can be arranged.
Adjacent nursery specializing in unusual perennials, ferns and grasses, all tried and tested in the garden. Partial disabled access.
