Baddesley Clinton

The gardens at Baddesley Clinton are delightful. They surround an 18th century moated manor and include formal courtyard garden, wildflower and meadow garden, woodland/lakeside walks, and stew ponds.
The walled garden dates from the early 18th century and contains a sun-dial with surrounding borders of shrub roses. Plenty more to see at Baddesley Clinton with a superb dahlia border and herb borders.
There is a Japanese style bridge over the Long Ditch linking the stewponds and nature trail areas (we saw a tree-creeper (bird) by the lake.
Great Restaurant and worth a stroll on a quiet afternoon in November & Dec.
