Ardkinglas Woodland Garden, Argyll and Bute

Many of Britain ’s champion trees can be found in Ardkinglas Woodland Garden , including the  “Mightiest Conifer
in Europe ”, a silver fir (Abies alba) with a girth in excess of 32 feet (10.5m) which was selected as one of 50 Great British Trees to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee.
