Garden Holidays Banner

Ardchattan Priory Garden was first the home to Valliscaulian monks in the 13th century it has evolved over the years and now boasts fine herbaceous borders as well as a rockery and shrub borders. The Wild Garden to either side of the drive is full of interesting trees and shrubs which thrive in the neutral soil and temperate weather of the west coast.
Spring has good displays of daffodils, followed by Azaleas and roses, the herbaceous borders are at their best in July and many trees have good autumn colours. The peaceful garden has magnificent views across Loch Etive and the ruined chapel and graveyard to its rare can also be viewed.
