An Cala, Isle of Seil, Argyll (Ancala)

These beautiful gardens at An Cala were created by Thomas Mawson in the 1930's. In fact they still have a 30's feel.
There are also magnificent views across the islets of the Inner Hebrides.
Streams wander through the gardens which have many paths creating a colourful landscape. There are Poulson roses, Japanese Cherry Trees, azaleas and more formal bedding.
An Cala is remarkable small garden of around 5 acres.
