Alnwick Garden

The Alnwick Garden officially opened in April 2002 .

The main feature of the Alnwick Garden is the Grand Cascade which is a magnificent tumbling mass of water ending in an eruption of fountains sending 350 litres of water into the air every second. The sensational displays are synchronised by computer with four stunning sequences.
Above the Cascade is the Ornamental Garden, a formal walled garden with innovative European planting and water pools and there is a Rose Garden with 3000 rose bushes and clematis where the scent is heavenly and contains, amongst others, the Alnwick Castle Rose launched at Chelsea in 2001.
The Treehouse, one of the largest in the world and featuring a wonderful place to eat  and walkways in the sky, the Poison Garden, the Bamboo Labyrinth and the Serpent Garden, with water sculptures and topiary
